Kaylene fell in love with dichroic glass’ captivation reflective qualities, inspiring her to introduce forged glass as a new medium for her creativity, which includes vibrant acrylic paintings and screen prints. Extensive travel throughout Australia and exotic destinations such as: South America, Fiji, Tahiti, and Borneo has inspired many of her designs. Kaylene reflects her passion for the environment into each design. Azure blues of the coral sea, lush and exotic texture of the rainforests, and rich reds and vibrant ochres of the Australian outback.
Kaylene’s island based design studio in Moreton bay, with views of North and South Stradbroke islands the Gold Coast sky risers, and passing flotillas, provide constant inspiration.
